The Stars Send Holiday Mail for Heroes
In the spirit of giving
during this festive season, the Saratoga Stars team signed and
sent Holiday cards to United States service
members and veterans. The Holiday Mail for Heroes program provides a
way to send a message of gratitude to our service members during the
holiday season.
The program is supported by the American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes, Inc.

Synchro teammates from the
Super Stars, Stars, and Starlettes recently
served family and friends at Applebee's Flapjack Breakfast. The Synchro skaters appreciate the continued support shown
by parents and the community who helped
make this another successful event for Saratoga Synchro.

The Saratoga Synchronized Skating Program hosts First Annual Event!
Saratoga
Synchro skaters and Coach Missy greeted track-goers and promoted the
successful Saratoga Synchro program, while raising money to offset
expenses for the team's upcoming competitive season. Families lined up
for the fabulous face painting (Serena's beautiful butterflies were the
talk of the track!) and colorful souvenir items were sold. The event
took place at the community outreach booth located in front of the
Silks' display windows. Teammates and synchro parents made this event a
huge success for Saratoga Synchro!!

Saratoga Stars Win USFS Eastern
Synchronized Skating Challenge Series!
The Stars receive their Gold Medal and recognition certificate at
Saratoga Springs Figure Skating Club's 2009 Banquet.
The Stars have received a GOLD medal, placing first of nine teams who registered for
USFS'
Challenge Series in their division. The Stars earned accumulating
points through top placements at specially designated competitions.
This achievement is an impressive honor and underscores the Stars
consistent skating excellence throughout the season. Go Stars!!!
Saratoga Stars Seniors Receive Awards!
The Senior Stars are commended by Coach Melissa Williams.
Three members of the Saratoga Stars Open Juvenile Team were recognized for outstanding dedication to their team at Saratoga Springs Figure Skating Club's April 2009 Banquet. These Senior Skaters served as excellent role models to younger team members during
the 2008-09 Award Winning Season. They will leave a lasting impression on the ice as they depart for college this fall. Good Luck Senior Stars!! One Team - One Heart!!!
